The property clearly shows signs of age with well-worn towels and outdated room features. The shower controls are woefully high, requiring taller guests to stretch to use them, while sink water only offered a cold option. the surrounding beach area was littered with debris and the actual photos showcased online didn't reflect the current state accurately.

My stay at Papillon Resort was delightful, highlighted by the friendly and attentive staff who went out of their way to assist me. I particularly enjoyed the cleanliness of my bungalow and the lovely on-site restaurant serving delicious Thai food.

I found the beds extremely uncomfortable. I could feel the springs in the mattress. the location felt quite isolated, with limited dining options. It required a 20-minute walk or a short taxi ride to reach Chaweng's main area, which was a bit challenging for me.

This spot was just awesome. The owners really hooked us up with tips for local spots. We enjoyed breakfast by the beach, and it was legit! The only thing was the wi-fi was kinda weak in our bungalow, so that was a bit annoying when sharing pics.
